I come from the Stavies a village located in the foothills of Asterousia, a mountain in the southern part of Heraklion on Crete. In 2007 I graduated from the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, National Technical University. The period 2008-2011 I worked in the private sector in Heraklion as a business consultant in the construction and supervision of numerous private projects by developing financial studies. Then, wishing to expand even further my knowledge on the IT sector, I completed my postgraduate studies at the University of Crete in Computer Science Department in the areas of Electronic Commerce and Multimedia.
My main interests are determined to develop web applications using cutting-edge open source technology. I have worked with languages such as Java, PHP, MySQL, Javascript, HTML5, CSS3 and frameworks like CakePHP, Play, Bootstrap and more. Furthermore I constantly update on the evolution of web technologies extending my knowledge by participating and taking part in work groups such as the open source awards organized by the group of ELLAK at the University of Crete. During my undergraduate studies, I was actively involved with the Student Union of Cretans (F.E.K) which had participated in a multitude of events organization, meetings and conferences. Finally I served in the ranks of the Armed Forces of the Greek Army in 2007 in the Engineering weapon. More information can be found in the CV.
